Scanning Super 8 to Digital

As entrepreneurs that have specialized in the super 8 format, we are constantly pushing the tiny frame to its maximum capacity. We bring you the best in cutting edge scanning technology on first class machines married with our intimate understanding of the lifecycle of an image. We follow the image as it moves from the properties of its particular type of raw stock, to the camera, to the lab, to the digital domain.

All our machines have custom modified gates with prime lens optics that scan the image at the correct aspect ratio. Because we own the gates they are precisely calibrated to the machines, an often overlooked, yet critical component when choosing a scanning facility.

All color correction is done by one of our experienced colorists, and Pro8mm offers client attended (supervised) and unsupervised transfers to meet the needs of each individual client. We also offer unscheduled work for a discount - a great option for home movie transfers.

We have scanned millions of feet of regular 8, super 8 and 16mm film for TV, 35mm theatrical releases, music videos, commercials, documentaries, indie films, student projects, and the personal archives of the worlds most famous faces!
